- Guidance and technical tips by a fully qualified and experienced instructor (5years of DownHill teaching in Morzine) who lives to shred!
- Rental of a high performance full-suspension electric bike, with excellent enduro equipment and great battery autonomy.
- Adjustement of the bikes before starting
- Rental of helmet, gloves, knee and elbow pads.
- First-aid kit (carried in the instructor bag).
- Mechanical assistance.

Description
Reach La Clusaz Bikepark riding the Aravis natural trails and go down the DownHill Trails following your instructor.
Program:
- Meeting point : Arav’e-Bike shop in Le Chinaillon
- Adjustment depending on everyone’s weight and instructor explanations.
- Intense ride up passing through the mountain fields, ride down natural trails and reach La Clusaz Bikepark to ride singletracks.
- Sandwich break or quick snack on the lift up, depending on everyone’s mood!
- About 3 hours of DownHill ride in the Bikepark (trails depending on level)
- Danay’s singletracks’ ride to cross back to Le Grand Bornand and Boost mode to pedal pack to Le Chinaillon.

Physical level: IN VERY GOOD SHAPE.
On this day, you will ride about 30 kilometers, without counting the bikepark trails. Pushing the bike up is possible. It is recommended to practice regularly mountain bike and to master your bike.

- 4-hour liftpass for La Clusaz Bikepark
- Transportation to the meeting point in Le Chinaillon.
- Personnal insurance.
- Marmotte Futée Insurance for 3€. It covers in case of broken item on the bike during the tour (if you fall or let the bike fall)

Frequently Asked Questions
Yes, it is highly recommended to book in order to make sure the instructor and a bike adapted to your height is available.
The minimum number of participants is set at 3 or 4 depending on the type of course. An accompanied outing cannot take place if the minimum number of people is not reached. You will then be offered a refund or a modification of your reservation.
For everyone’s comfort, we limit our grops to 6,8 or 10 depending on the type of tour and the level. For private groups, please get in touch.
During a group outing, everyone has more fun when the level is the same. We accept kids from age 10 or 1m40 height, as soon as the kid is autonomous and can ride a bike (use the brakes, pedal, turn, stand up on the pedals)
Our groups are composed by level so that everyone has a good time. Don’t hesitate to call us to discuss your level or to consult our level finder so that we can choose the best level together. If the level of the group is too different, we will suggest you to change the group or the schedule in order to ensure the safety and the satisfaction of all.
The price include the instructor guidance, maintenance of the bike, rental of the bike and the protection kit: helmet, gloves, knee abd elbow protections. The tour can include a snack or meal.
As a rule, the starting point is at our office in Chinaillon. However, some outings outside of Grand Bornand may start from another location, in which case the meeting place will be specified on your reservation summary. Thank you for being punctual.
- We take the time to listen to everyone’s expectations, desires and level ideas. Then we adjust the bikes to the body size of each participant.
- A short time to get used to the bike on a road or 4×4 track to discover the bike and the use of the engine.
- Depending on the type and level of the outing, the instructor can give advice or suggest practical exercises to improve, or simply guide you if you wish.
- An animation or a snack/meal can be included on the course.
- Back to the starting point, bike check and debriefing.
Of course. Booking an instructor for a private session will ensure that you perfect your technique more quickly and you will have full choice of your itinerary. More info (private instructor)

Our office is located in Le Chinaillon center, 5 km from Le Grand Bornand Village when driving up to Col de La Colombière. Come and see us to explore your ebike escape possibilities.
Visiting Le Grand Bornand off-season?
Good idea! Spring and fall are marvellous seasons to discovery the Aravis mountains. The trails are less crowded. Our office is open summertime and during weekends only in the spring and fall. The rest of the time, please call us or email us to organise your e-MTB escape.
