Initiation au VTT Électrique pour les 8-12 ans au Grand Bornand/Chinaillon

- L’encadrement par une monitrice de vélo.
- La location d’un VTT électrique semi-rigide enfant pour les 3 séances (pour les enfants de 1m20 à 1m55)
- Tout le kit de protection du vététiste (casque et gants oui, mais aussi genouillères et coudières pour plus de sécurité)
- La trousse de secours transportée par la monitrice.
- L’assistance mécanique.
Option : Ce qui est inclus dans la 4ème demi journée (+1 séance de 3h30 à 60€)
- Tout ce qui était inclus dans le stage de base
- Picnic gourmand du terroir
- Une carte aux trésors sous la forme d’un jeu de piste grandeur nature
NB : Les enfants sont admis à partir de 8 ans, dès lors que la taille requise de 1m20 est atteinte et que le niveau du groupe est homogène. Le prix indiqué inclus un VTT électrique semi-rigide pour les enfants de 1m20 à 1m54. Exception sur demande (jusqu’à 13 ans, supplément demandé pour utilisation d’un vélo adulte taille S)

Déroulement du stage :
- 3 demi-journées en VTT Électrique (+1 en option)
- Point de départ : bureau Arav’e-Bike au Chinaillon ou Ludoparc au Grand Bornand Village
- Initiation douce et prise de confiance grâce à des exercices ludiques
- Option : 1 séance allongée (3h30) à la fin avec initiation à l’Orientation en montagne via une Chasse aux Trésors, picnic inclus (+60€)
- 9h30 – 11h30 (et jusqu’à 13h pour la dernière séance en option)
- 4 enfants minimum pour assurer le départ du stage.
Niveau technique : DÉCOUVERTE
Si votre enfant ne pratique pas ou peu le vélo ou le VTT, c’est l’occasion de lui faire découvrir une nouvelle discipline sportive ! Accessible grâce à l’assistance électrique, fun et permettant d’accéder à des lieux sympas en peu de temps. Notre monitrice donnera à votre enfant tous les conseils pour prendre en main votre monture et rapidement être à l’aise dessus. Si vous le souhaitez vous pouvez jeter un oeil à notre guide des niveaux.
Niveau physique : ACTIVITÉ PHYSIQUE RÉGULIERE / EN FORME
La sortie représente un peu plus de 1H30 sur la selle à pédaler. Si votre enfant marche régulièrement ou pratique une autre activité physique ou sport régulièrement il n’aura pas de soucis à suivre. L’assistance électrique lisse les niveaux physique, elle aide considérablement, cependant l’enfant reste l’activateur du moteur. N’hésitez pas à nous demander notre avis si vous avez le moindre doute !

- L’assurance Marmotte Futée couvre contre la casse d’un article du vélo lors de la sortie.
- Le transport.

Frequently Asked Questions
Yes, it is highly recommended to book in order to make sure the instructor and a bike adapted to your height is available.
The minimum number of participants is set at 3 or 4 depending on the type of course. An accompanied outing cannot take place if the minimum number of people is not reached. You will then be offered a refund or a modification of your reservation.
For everyone’s comfort, we limit our grops to 6,8 or 10 depending on the type of tour and the level. For private groups, please get in touch.
During a group outing, everyone has more fun when the level is the same. We accept kids from age 10 or 1m40 height, as soon as the kid is autonomous and can ride a bike (use the brakes, pedal, turn, stand up on the pedals)
Our groups are composed by level so that everyone has a good time. Don’t hesitate to call us to discuss your level or to consult our level finder so that we can choose the best level together. If the level of the group is too different, we will suggest you to change the group or the schedule in order to ensure the safety and the satisfaction of all.
The price include the instructor guidance, maintenance of the bike, rental of the bike and the protection kit: helmet, gloves, knee abd elbow protections. The tour can include a snack or meal.
As a rule, the starting point is at our office in Chinaillon. However, some outings outside of Grand Bornand may start from another location, in which case the meeting place will be specified on your reservation summary. Thank you for being punctual.
- We take the time to listen to everyone’s expectations, desires and level ideas. Then we adjust the bikes to the body size of each participant.
- A short time to get used to the bike on a road or 4×4 track to discover the bike and the use of the engine.
- Depending on the type and level of the outing, the instructor can give advice or suggest practical exercises to improve, or simply guide you if you wish.
- An animation or a snack/meal can be included on the course.
- Back to the starting point, bike check and debriefing.
Of course. Booking an instructor for a private session will ensure that you perfect your technique more quickly and you will have full choice of your itinerary. More info (private instructor)

Our Office
Our office is located in Le Chinaillon center, 5 km from Le Grand Bornand Village when driving up to Col de La Colombière. Come and see us to explore your ebike escape possibilities.
Visiting Le Grand Bornand off-season?
Good idea! Spring and fall are marvellous seasons to discovery the Aravis mountains. The trails are less crowded. Our office is open summertime and during weekends only in the spring and fall. The rest of the time, please call us or email us to organise your e-MTB escape.
