The Junior Children’s Electric Mountain Bike: For Budding Young Riders.

What’s included in the price (37€ half-day) :

  • Rental of a 24-inch electrically assisted mountain bike
  • Rental of helmet and gloves
  • Adjustment of the bike before the rental departure
  • Mechanical assistance during the rental if needed
  • Cleaning, checking and maintenance of the bike before and after the rental

Duration of rental

When booking online you can choose whether you wish to rent half-day or take the full-day extension. The rental is offered for a minimum of 2 hours on site only (without booking and according to availability).

Rental quality guarantee

  • For your bigger kids, age 8 to 12 or height 1m35 to 1m54, the 24″ e-MTB is perfect for a first try or to perfect their skills.
  • We maintain the bikes on each outing to guarantee the safety and comfort of your children.

Your child isn’t tall enough yet?

  • For the little ones, aged around 5 to 8 years old or measuring 115 to 135cm, rent a 20-inch electric mountain bike instead to gain confidence in complete safety.
  • A little fair? Choose the 26-inch full suspension mountain bike.

Suspension and comfort

Featuring front suspension, well-proportioned wheels and a comfortable, maneuverable frame, this 24-inch electric mountain bike will help your child get familiar with the bike off-road and learn to use the electric assist.

Lightweight and easy to handle

These bikes are equipped with a 400 Wh (24 inch) battery allowing a speed of 20 km/h (compared to 25 for adults). This battery size compared to your kids weight gives a great autonomy for half and full day tours To each his own electric bike, you can embark with your family on beautiful routes in search of the peaks.

Itinerary idea

The Grand Bornand ski area is an ideal terrain to try electric mountain biking. It includes 4WD trails suitable for beginners or small narrower singles to learn how to handle your bike downhill. Need advice? Join one of our guided tours like the Myrt’eBike (snack included) or the Lake Tour, adapted for children.

To improve

For children we offer electric mountain bike courses at Chinaillon in the summer. Discover our facilities and register your child so that he/she can gain confidence and handle his/her electric bike better and better in the mountains.
