Our electric mountain bikes from Cube are Enduro models, among the best equipped in the range to guarantee comfort and handling. The Stereo Hybrid 160 HPC (RACE or SL) is equipped to satisfy the most demanding mountain bikers as well as beginners for whom comfort and safety are paramount. Its 27.5″ wheels give it excellent maneuverability and ease of pedaling.
What is included in the price (57€ per half day):
- The rental of an Full-suspension Electric Mountain Bike Enduro (750Wh Bosch battery)
- Rental of an adult Enduro helmet and gloves
- Adjustment of the bike before the rental departure
- A repair kit and mechanical assistance if needed
- Cleaning, checking and maintenance of the bike before you leave

New motorization for a comfortable pedaling.
The motors of our electric bikes are the latest generation BOSCH. The 750Wh batteries and the tpower of the motors allow a long battery life and a reasonable effort. Our electric Enduro bikes are perfect for our mountain terrain, the roads and trails in and around the Aravis.
Explore the paths
If you want to go up to the Colombière pass from Chinaillon, to do the Lachat or Danay tour, for a half or full day, you have found your best ally. Its large battery will not fail you. The most sporty will like to warm up their legs with the “Eco/Tour mode” while the least effort supporters will appreciate to be carried with the e-MTB or even Turbo mode. To each his own practice of the e-Bike.

When renting an e-bike from Arav’e-Bike, your helmet and gloves rental is included. You can also choose to rent knee and elbow protections from us for more security. We chose these products among the best to make sure you will ride comfortable and secure. We highly recommend wearing them.

Falling can happen and hurt, yourself and your budget. Be covered against damaging the bike for 3€ only.

Frequently Asked Questions
Yes. Unlike motorbikes, an e-bike is still a bike. The engine accompanies the movement of the legs but does not replace it.
Our smallest kids ebikes are for age 5 or 1m15 height. For even smaller kids, you can rent electric balance bikes 16″ or ride with a suspended trailer for kids age 1 to 5. For grown-ups, the only limit is the one you set to yourself ;)
It is highly recommended to book. During summer and week-ends, it is highly recommand to book 1 week ahead of tome in order to get a bike and one that is appropriate to your height. Apart from that time, it is necessary to book because we only open on demand.
Of course. Our office is closed during the week in the spring and fall, but we are always available by phone or email. Apart from week-ends, give us a call 48hours in advance preferably, and we will deliver the bikes to you.
The delivery is offered in the Aravis for a minimum of 4 bikes at 10€/bike.
Our electric mountain bikes are new and high quality, therefore we take a bank deposit of 1000€ per bike rental.
- You will sign a Rental Contract (explaining the rules to follow and the prices in case of damage on the bike). You have a look at our Good Mannered Rider’s guide to ensure your riding is respectful of the mountain and the rental material.
- You can choose to take the Marmotte Futée Insurance to cover damage up to 90%. If you do not wish to subscribe to our insurance, make sure you are covered with your Credit card (above Gold cards only) or by your personal insurance.
- You pay for the estimated rental time. If you do not get us the bike at the expected time you will be charged for the extra rental time.

Open 7days a week during summer holidays, our shop is located in the centre of Le Chinaillon, 5 kilomerters higher of Le Grand Bornand Village when driving to le Col de la Colombière. Come and see us to discuss your MTB options.
Visiting Le Grand Bornand off-season?
Good idea! Spring and fall are marvellous to enjoy the Aravis mountains. And our trails are less crowded.
In spring and fall, our shop is open durign the weekends and on demand the week. The rest of the time, please call us or email us to organise your e-MTB escape. We can be available on request during the week.
